The 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs are scheduled to be played from May 23 to May 28, 2023. The four teams that have qualified for the playoffs are:

  • Gujarat Titans
  • Chennai Super Kings
  • Lucknow Super Giants
  • Mumbai Indians

The playoffs will consist of two Qualifiers, an Eliminator, and the Final. The Qualifier 1 will be played between the top two teams in the table, with the winner of that match qualifying for the Final directly. The loser of Qualifier 1 will play the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2, with the winner of that match also qualifying for the Final. The Final will be played between the two remaining teams.

Qualifier 2: Loser of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Eliminator (7:30 PM IST, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad)

Final: Winner of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Qualifier 2 (7:30 PM IST, Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad)

The Gujarat Titans are the defending champions, having won the title in their debut season in 2022. They will be looking to defend their title and become the first team to win the IPL twice in a row. The Chennai Super Kings are the most successful team in the history of the IPL, having won the title four times. They will be looking to add to their tally and win their fifth title. The Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians are both looking to win their first IPL title. They will be hoping to make the most of their opportunity and lift the trophy.
