Mumbai  Jordan replacement for Jofra Archer

Mumbai Indians have inked a deal with England speedster Chris Jordan for the remainder of the IPL 2023. Jordan has been roped in as the injury replacement for Jofra Archer, who "will return home to focus on his rehabilitation" MI said in a statement on Tuesday 

Chris Jordan is an English cricketer who was born on October 4, 1988, in Barbados. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and a lower-order right-handed batsman.


Jordan made his debut for the England cricket team in limited-overs cricket in 2013, and his Test debut followed in 2014. He is primarily known for his abilities as a death bowler in limited-overs cricket, where he has developed a reputation for his ability to bowl yorkers and slower balls at the end of an innings.


Jordan has played in several domestic T20 leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has also represented the England Lions (the England A team) on several occasions.
